Occupational Therapy

In 1963, the Universidad de Chile established the School of Occupational Therapy as an outcome of an agreement signed with the Pan American Health Organization. The aim of that school is to train occupational therapists (Bachelor's Degree) to respond to a specific and significant issue the country faces regarding the social inclusion of vulnerable groups and disabled people.

The core curriculum includes a training program designed to establish preventive measures and strategies aimed at fostering the occupational development of people with physical and psychiatric dysfunctions, developmental disabilities, and psychosocial problems.
